I recently had the privilege of participating in the V National Cyber League of the Civil Guard as an expert from the Institute of Knowledge Engineering (IIC). Specifically, I was at the round table titled: “AI and cybercrime: AI as a friend or foe?” (AI and cybercrime: AI as friend or enemy?), which is a topic that, without a doubt, gives us hours and hours of talking, and about which I am going to summarize my position in the following lines. This congress brought together senior officials from governments around the world, including the US, China, the UK, Germany, France, Spain and the EU as a whole. As a result of this conference, The Bletchley Declaration was published , which notes that "Advanced artificial intelligence represents significant risks in areas such as cybersecurity and biotechnology.
