Without a doubt one of the trips that has impressed us the most has been traveling to Finnish Lapland, we were there a total of 5 days combining it with Helsinki. 2- Where have you stayed? In what regime have you done it? Tell us some details about the accommodation. Santa Claus's village, we visited a husky farm, some frozen waterfalls (Korouoma falls, which I'll also post photos of) and we were in search of the northern lights, which we saw, all of this accompanied by temperatures of -15ยบ. 5- Let's talk about gastronomy, have you tried any typical food from the area? Would you recommend a restaurant that you have tried? Salmon and reindeer meat, a fairly well-priced restaurant is in the town of Santa Claus, but it must be admitted that the food there is very expensive.
The restaurant is called SANTA'S SALMON PLACE RESTAURANT). We tried the reindeer meat in a hamburger at a slightly cheaper place (it's called Hesburger Sampokeskus). 6- If you knew someone who was going to travel to this destination soon, would you make any recommendations? Anything I should know? I would tell you to go in the middle of the winter season, since we went right at the beginning, and there are many things we didn't do, such as seeing an ice hotel, driving snowmobiles or traveling on an icebreaker. Although with what we did we returned more than happy and leaving the destination one of the best seen without being far from Spain.
