The 'El Progreso' Cooperative of Villarrubia de los Ojos, the oldest in Spain with uninterrupted activity, will present its Medal of Honor this year to María Isabel Mijares García-Pelayo, the first winemaker to head a winery in Spain and figure recognized in oenology and viticulture in our country and internationally, who will be the first woman to receive this medal. Together with José Antonio , he founded the TEAM Team, a company that will gradually acquire great importance in the sector. From the first moment, ' activity is extensive, occupying all positions of responsibility and influence in the sector: founding companies, management of designations of origin, courses, conferences, member of juries of international competitions.
